From a young age on, Daria has always been fascinated by the cultural conditioning. Beyond Asana (the physical pose), Yoga is a way of life that enables Daria to continue to observe, to feel and be present – on and off the mat.
Originally from Poland, Daria grew up in Germany and left the country to live in Amsterdam, the Netherlands when she was 26. Always enjoying working together with others and being of service she started her first job in an animal welfare organization. Exposing and sharing the truth, she quickly felt drawn to documentary photography and soon started working for World Press Photo during their annual photography contest, just to become a freelance photographer herself in 2011.
Meanwhile the hunger for a personal & spiritual practice grew and she came in touch with Hatha Yoga and Meditation as early as 2003. This is where Daria experienced that developing a strong focus and calmness serves in dealing with daily life challenges.
Daria took her first Ashtanga class in 2012 and immediately fell in love with this style of Yoga and has been practicing it ever since as a Meditation in movement. Being dedicated to this tradition, Daria completed the 200h Ashtanga Teacher Training in Mysore, India, further a 100h training on the Path of Ashtanga Yoga and a 50h training on Yoga & Mindfulness. Currently Daria is finishing her 500h Yoga Therapy Training with Svastha Yoga & Ayurveda School and an additional 500h Advanced Teacher Training with Delight Yoga. Daria has been fortunate to meet and study with many prominent teachers as Eddie Stern, Petri Raisanen, Ganesh Mohan & Günter Niessen. She also gives respect to Claudia Pradella, Eva Ugolini, Katizia Satya Ivulic, Sahaj Yogi & Gibran Gonzalez who have been a great support on this path.
Since 2015 Daria has taught more than 3000 h in public & private classes as well as corporate classes in Ashtanga Yoga, Meditation, Breath Work, Mindful Yoga, Stress Relief & Stress Reduction. Next to that she is working with refugees in private sessions to help them recover from stress related issues. Daria considers Yoga as a lifelong journey. In her teachings Daria is dedicated to touch and inspire others in order to bring about growth, reflection and happiness.
